What are the five daily prayer times?
Fajr (dawn), Dhuhr (just after midday), Asr (afternoon), Maghrib (just after sunset) and Isha (night). Their clock times shift daily with the sun and your location.
Why do prayer times differ between apps?
Different calculation methods. Methods set the sun-angle used for Fajr and Isha and can differ by a few minutes. Pick the one your local mosque follows.
What is the Asr school setting?
Standard (Shafi'i, Maliki, Hanbali) uses one shadow length; Hanafi uses two, giving a slightly later Asr. Choose the one you follow.
